We are pleased to announce that we will be unveiling a powerful new suite of components for our Coach Manager private hire and contract booking system at Euro Bus Expo 2008 on 4th - 6th November.

Coach Manager Online has been designed to extend the reach of our industry leading coach booking system out of the office and onto the Internet.

At the centre of the new suite of components is a facility that will enable a coach company to create its own corporate website from details entered into Coach Manager in nothing more complicated than plain English text.

These days every company is aware it needs to have a top quality professionally designed website if it is to stand a chance of succeeding. The problem is that good web design companies are expensive. Not only can it be costly to get a decent site off the ground, but there is the problem of fine tuning the site content over time and keeping it up to date with your latest news; every time you make a change you incur further costs.

The Coach Manager Online website component solves this problem by allowing operators to create and maintain their own website without the need for any special skills and without having to know anything about how websites work. The system not only builds a website that looks professional; it also builds one that is optimised for all the leading search engines.

We've taken technology we developed for our Tour Booking System and built it into Coach Manager Online. Although search engine optimisation, or SEO, is very much a black art, many of our TBS clients are already achieving top rankings with Google. Coach Manager Online builds your website as it should be built from a search engine point of view; it then takes things even further by putting the control of your all important keywords and other metadata into your own hands. In day to day use it's so simple, yet so effective.

Best of all, it's completely free of charge. The website component is being included as standard with the full version of our current Microsoft SQL Server based Coach Manager private hire and contract booking system; so we're going to be giving it away to over 300 existing clients. It isn't included with our cheaper Coach Manager Express system, but those clients have the option to upgrade should they want to.

Over the coming weeks we will be releasing additional optional components which will extend the scope of the corporate website. First will be an online quotation facility that will allow interested clients to request a coach hire quotation. The Coach Manager Web Pack, which was launched several years ago, included a basic quotation facility, but the new component will go very much further with images of available vehicles and detailed feature descriptions.

A further optional component will be concerned with allowing clients, drivers and operations staff to have access to Coach Manager via the Internet. Clients will be able to login, list their bookings, print copy invoices or a statement and make online balance payments. Drivers will be able to login, list the bookings they've been allocated to, print work tickets and report vehicle defects. Operations staff will be able to view bookings, allocate vehicles and drivers and, in the longer term, add and change bookings in response to changing operational circumstances.
